April 30, May 1 & 2, 2010
Come join us in beautiful North Idaho for a fantastic fun filled weekend.  Update is in red.  Saddle sore & trail weary committee is working hard to complete plans.  Questions have been coming in about what our theme and dress is.  We are doing a western theme.  Cowgirl boots & hats.  Use your imagination to dress western--could be square dance, Wagon train, Saloon, Ellie Mae.  You decide.  There will be prizes randomly given. 
 
Friday -- registration, hospitality & snacks, dinner & entertainment.  Vendors will be open for business.  Registration will be 12 to 5.  Dinner will be 6 pm. Entertainment will start at 7 pm.
 
Saturday -- Style Show by Coldwater Creek, Card Bingo, more shopping, dinner & entertainment.  Vendors will be open for business.  Style Show will start at 10 am.  Card Bingo will start at 2 pm.  For card bingo you will need to bring 6 one dollar bills to play.  Prizes will be given.  Dinner will be at 6 pm.  Entertainment will start at 8 pm.
 
Sunday -- breakfast & closing ceremonies.  Breakfast will be at 9 am.  We should be finished by noon.
 
There will be room to hang chapter banners.  Bring your banners in when you register.  There will be gals ready to take your banner and hang it.
 
Please bring Silent Auction items -- this can be a basket or other item for seed monies for 2011 Funvention.  Bring your silent auction items in when you register.  Please have card with your items with you chapter name, & address.  If it is a basket or has more than one item please list the contents.
 
In honor of our military we ask you to bring cards with envelopes -- unused birthday, anniversary, Christmas etc.  These will be sent to the military for their usage.  There will be baskets on the tables for the cards.  Please bring them when you come to dinner Friday.
 
The Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Guild will be having a Quilt Show in Sandpoint with Red Hat quilted items for sale as well as a raffle quilt.  JoAnn Sims is the featured quilter and a Red Hat Rascal.

There is a bus coming from Boise and there is room for more to join the group.  Jean Hipp is the contact person with the information. 208-895-8497  The bus trip sounds like a lot of fun.  As of 2-8-10 they have room for 16 more Red Hatters. 

In answer to questions about seating arrangements we will have open seating.  First come first serve.  Sit with your friends but don't forget to mingle and visit with other Red Hatters.

We will be sending out confirmation letters with more information.
 
Businesses will be catering to the Red Hatters.
